The recent 3 day cold snap has cooled surface water temps 5-10 degrees! Walleye fishing has been sporadic, some very good and other days not so! Both largemouth & smallmouth are fair with most fish being caught from 8_12 feet with a few shallower! The attached pics are some recents I’ve taken! I apologize for my neglectfulness the last couple of weeks!
The Walleyes have, for the most part, moved to their summer haunts, weeds and rocks. With the water temps rising into the 70s nitecrawlers and leeches are producing well. The best fishing will be the early am and late pm hours. The bass are post spawn and beginning to hit well on plastic, crank baits and spinners. Have a great 4th of July and good luck on the water!
